Work in Progress: Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

BakerFamily Corp. Annouces Work in Progress
New "Project Drei" anticipated on April 1 of next year

Hyrum, Utah--August 15, 2001. BakerFamily Corp. recently announced that its latest project, codenamed "Project Drei," is in development for an early 2002 release.

This open-ended project was conceived in July by BakerFamily's chief executives, David and Melanie Baker. Still in the early engineering phase, work on Project Drei will be primarily managed by Melanie Baker for a period of approximately nine months. Though heavily involved with his initial contribution, David Baker will remain on the development team, though in a supporting role. BakerFamily expects the initial release to occur on or about April 1, 2002.

The results of BakerFamily's first two projects, Ian and Nathan, have been briefed about this new development. Ian, who recently turned four, has expressed a vague notion of "something in mommy's tummy." When asked for comment about a name for the project, Ian indicated a desire to title the final product "Lucy, after Maya's baby sister." Nathan, who is not quite two, still seems to have no concept of the product or the dramatic changes that will result from its implementation. Asked about his naming preferences, Nathan responded, "No."

According to medical advisors, production is progressing smoothly. BakerFamily Corp. fully expects a smooth development process, and on on-time (if not early) release.

What's New?

Everything's new! Pretty much everything in my life has changed in some way in the past few months. If you haven't checked in recently, you'll want to read all about my departure from the Braun gulag. Now that that nightmare is over, things are going great. Here are a few examples:
