Meet the Family

There are five of us: Melanie and me, our sons Ian and Nathan, and our daughter Megan.

Ian

Ian just turned eight, and is really making his own way. He's adjusted very well to the move, and has already made lots of friends at school. He has joined the school orchestra, and also was recently accepted into the Phoenix Boys Choir.

Nathan

At five years and counting, Nathan has turned into a fun little guy. He is strong-willed, slightly impatient, and very loving. Nathan just entered kindergarten, and is really enjoying going to school every day. After a brief reprise of his jedi phase (which coincided with the release of Star Wars Episode 3), he is back to living full-time in Middle Earth, alternating personas between Frodo, Aragorn, and Legolas, as the mood suits him.

Megan

Megan is three and in full-on princess mode. She loves playing with dolls, changing dress-up clothes every 12-1/2 minutes, and being in charge. She still talks with a slight lisp, which makes the effect all the more endearing.

Melanie

Originally from Thatcher, Arizona, Melanie can do just about anything. Her training is in music education, and she regularly performs in church meetings. She also likes crafts like sewing, quilting, knitting, and so on. She recently became involved in scrapbooking, and has made great progress with creating family and individual scrapbooks for our family.

And of course:

Me

What's New?

Everything's new! Pretty much everything in my life has changed in some way in the past few months. If you haven't checked in recently, you'll want to read all about my departure from the Braun gulag. Now that that nightmare is over, things are going great. Here are a few examples:
